Sign Language for Babies

Baby sign language is a great way to help you communicate with your pre-verbal baby. Baby sign language helps babies that are ready to communicate, but can’t quite bridge the gap to full speech. Then learn a few signs from the baby sign language dictionary and start using them in your daily routine. You only need a few to get started, so consider starting with our list of the top ten baby signs. Once your baby begins to sign back, ensure you give them lots of encouragement. Once the initial signs are mastered, you can expand their baby sign language vocabulary. As your baby gets more advanced you can print out the baby sign language flash cards and start to teach your child more advanced words or phrases.

Signing is something that I have always wanted to learn...I find it so fascinating! I have 2 and 4 yr old (boys) that are really showing interest in learning as well. My four year old watched some of these videos with me after I downloaded them and he is already showing everyone what he has learned!!!
